Steph Curry Mentions One Of His Ex-Campers Who Is Doing Well In The NBA

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has been doing the rounds this summer, as he’s been promoting his documentary on Apple TV as well as hosting his basketball camp while answering any questions the media has for him.

Usually, Curry is rarely seen during the NBA offseason as he keeps to himself and spends time with his family, but this summer has been different as he’s been more open than ever.

In a recent interview with Complex Sports, the four-time NBA champion answered a ton of questions on a number of different topics, with one of them being what young player in his prior basketball camps did he know was destined for greatness.

The face of the Warriors franchise didn’t hesitate to name rising star Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Over the last few years, Edwards has really started to make a name for himself in the NBA, and not just as a high-flying act in Minnesota, but as a player that could be elite in the very near future.

The Timberwolves star recently signed a lucrative contract extension with Minnesota, which basically signaled the team being handed over to the rising star from veteran center Karl-Anthony Towns.

Although Towns is still one of the best big men in the league today, Edwards continues to take giant leaps every year as he gets closer and closer to being given the distinction as one of the best shooting guards in the game.

Now that Edwards’ long-term future is set in Minnesota, it’ll be interesting to see if he can continue getting better while helping the Timberwolves to have some playoff success.
