Andre Iguodala Explores Steph Curry’s Impactful Leadership and Influence on the Warriors

There is a reason that the Golden State Warriors have been so successful over the last decade.

It’s not just that they have some supremely talented players on their roster.

But it is also because they have a mentality and a work ethic that is hard to top.

Andre Iguodala sat down on Gilbert Arenas’ show, via ClutchPoints, and talked about what head coach Steve Kerr and lead star Steph Curry demand of the team.

“You come into work every day, you come into practice and you work hard, life is easy. All I want you to do is lock in,” is what Kerr told the team, according to Iguodala.

That mentality was shared by the team’s biggest star, who was adamant about practicing every single day.

Iguodala said the vibe during these practice sessions was laid back and fun.

They even featured Kerr throwing footballs and hitting whiffle balls with players.

Kerr’s method of practicing hard often has worked out very well, and it’s also been successful because Curry is a “catalyst” behind it.

They have built a very strong and committed culture that other players take to.

Iguodala said that everyone on the Warriors “fall in line” and follow the instructions given by Kerr and Curry.

Everyone is on the same page about practicing often and playing hard.

Although Curry and Klay Thompson are spoken of as the most important duo with the Warriors, the partnership of Curry and Kerr is just as important.

Working in tandem, these two have turned the Warriors around and created the most dominant dynasty in modern NBA history.

They have done it through their skill, dedication, and desire to win.
