Steph Curry Sinks Incredible Game-Winning Shot in the Preseason Warriors vs. Kings Match

Stephen Curry did what he does best in the Golden State Warriors’ thrilling pre-season win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.

The four-time NBA champion dunked an incredible game-winner late in the game to help the Warriors win 116-115 as the 2023/24 NBA season draws closer.

The 2022 NBA champions were down by as many as 18 but mounted a comeback against a team they dispatched in seven games in last season’s playoffs.

The Warriors will face Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs in their last pre-season game before they commence their preparation for their opening night showdown against the star-studded Phoenix Suns on October 24

The Warriors are now 4-0 in pre-season after wins over the Los Angeles Lakers and the Kings.

Curry’s incredible game-winner
The Warriors were down two points with 11 seconds to go. Chris Paul inbounded the ball, and Curry was one-on-one against Kings All-Star De’Aaron Fox.

He created some separation before knocking down a game-winning three-pointer. The shot sent the crowd at Chase Center into a frenzy despite it being a pre-season game.

The 35-year-old Warriors superstar finished the game with 30 points, including 8 three-pointers. He hit four of them in the fourth quarter, per Mercury News.

The Warriors have also been integrating new players like Chris Pauls, Dario Saric, and rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis. Curry is entering his 15th season in the NBA and will be looking to win his 5th NBA title come June 2024.

Johnson fires back at Curry
Sports Brief earlier reported on Magic Johnson responding to Curry, who claimed he is the best point guard ever. Curry and Johnson are regarded as the best point guards in NBA history, but the debate as to who should be number one continues.

Johnson, who was at his peak in the 1980s, made his own case and listed his achievements in the sport.

His resume includes five NBA titles, three league MVPs, and three finals MVP crowns.
