When Michael Jordan marries Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, his son wants the NBA legend to be his best man

Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan intends to marry the ex-wife of Michael’s former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen, and wants his dad standing by his side when he ties the knot.

Larsa Pippen, 49, is 17 years older than 32-year-old Marcus. They don’t have a date for their wedding, but Marcus says he wants his father to be the best man at his wedding Tuesday during an interview on “Pablo Torre Finds Out.”

“I was the best man at his wedding, and the best man at my brother’s wedding so obviously it would be good to keep the tradition going,” Marcus said.

Larsa added that she also wants Michael to be the best man for Marcus.

Michael might have to be his son’s best man multiple times if the couple gets their way as well. Marcus said, ideally, the couple would have multiple weddings to ensure each crowd is intimate, but they can still celebrate with as many people as they want.

Pippen seperated from Scottie in 2016 after almost two decades of marriage, before their divorce was finalized in December 2021.

It is still unclear when Marcus and Larsa got engaged, as they previously said they weren’t engaged during an episode of their shared podcast in August.
