Last Thursday marked a remarkable day for the Golden State Warriors, not only because of a 120-114 win over the Clippers, but because of a peculiar detail in the calendar that coincided with the uniform numbers of the team’s dynastic trio.
November 30, 2023 lined up perfectly with the jersey numbers of key players: point guard Klay Thompson, iconic point guard Steph Curry and versatile forward Draymond Green.
The victory resounded with outstanding contributions from each: Curry racked up 26 points, seven rebounds and eight assists; Thompson contributed 22 points and six rebounds; while Green chipped in with 13 points, five rebounds and five assists.

NBC Sports Bay Area commentator Bob Fitzgerald, along with former Warriors player and fellow commentator Kelenna Azubuike, were interviewing the players. Fitzgerald asked Thompson a question about a play in the fourth period, and Klay immediately returned the question to the announcer.
“Well, Bob, it only takes one, but more importantly, I didn’t know it was the fifth year they were together,” Thompson said. “When I was doing broadcasts with all of you, I didn’t know what it would look like in the future. I’m proud of you two. The chemistry you two are building is just like the three of us.”
The camera caught Curry and Green, immersed in laughter and commotion, couldn’t stop laughing after Thompson’s reflection.
