NBA 3-point shooting phenom Steph Curry scores his 3,500th 3-pointer

Stephen Curry achieves a historic milestone with his 3,500th career 3-pointer, leading his team to victory alongside Klay Thompson, who surpasses Jason Terry on the NBA’s 3-point leaderboard.

On Saturday night, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, already the NBA’s all-time leader in made 3-pointers, elevated his record by sinking his 3,500th triple.

No other player has reached the 3,000 mark, with only Ray Allen, James Harden, and Reggie Miller joining the exclusive 2,500 club.

During the Warriors’ 124-120 victory over the Brooklyn Nets, Curry hit the milestone 3-pointer in the first quarter after maneuvering around a screen.

But that was just the beginning.

Curry went on to deliver one of his standout performances of the season, concluding the game with 37 points on an impressive 14-for-22 shooting, including a 6-for-8 from beyond the arc.

Not to be outdone, Klay Thompson also made a significant impact from long range, scoring 12 of his 24 points through 3-pointers. This achievement propelled Thompson past Jason Terry, securing his spot in 9th place on the NBA’s career 3-point leaderboard.

Together, Curry and Thompson combined for 61 points, connecting on ten 3-pointers out of 17 attempts.
