It’s no secret that 2024 is ready to kick off with what could possibly be one of the best action thrillers of the year. Throw in action superstar Jason Statham and pair him up with acclaimed director David Ayer (End of Watch, Fury) who knows a thing or two about unapologetic violence and you have the recipe for hardcore, extreme action set pieces with The Stath doing what he does best.
Titled The Beekeeper, Statham is about explode onto one man army mode as he takes on the highest levels of corruption to avenge the death of someone close to him. I’m a little late to the party with this one but Amazon and MGM Studios unleashed pulsating key art and images for the movie to accompany the on demand trailer that dropped a while back.

I’m just taking a stab in the dark here but I’m pretty sure this is one actioner that deserves to be seen in IMAX to experience Statham on the biggest screen imaginable. Not to mention the sound will shake you to your core so get those tickets early when they hit.
