Son of Michael Jordan Uses Father’s Christmas Memories for $6.1 Million Personal Project

When your dad’s the one and only Michael Jordan, you make the most of it. Marcus Jordan is growing his own business, The Trophy Room, within the Jordan Brand umbrella. The luxury fashion boutique is inspired by His Airness and Marcus’ childhood. It’s only fitting Marcus’ boutique threw it back to his dad’s first Christmas venture.

In 1985, Nike released a Christmas-themed commercial for the Air Jordan 1. It was MJ vs Santa Claus and we know who’s getting beat. The theme though was gifting a loved one Air Jordans on Christmas.

The official Trophy Room Instagram page shared the commercial on December 25 as, “MJ Monday.” The Trophy Room, with an annual revenue of $6.1 million, is, “Inspired by the trophy room within the Jordan family residence.” So this throwback encompasses everything about Marcus’ business.
