Jason Statham Takes Names And Kicks Some Butt In “The Beekeeper”

It’s time for some more sneak peeks at The Beekeeper as the first decent-sized action movie of 2024 creeps ever closer. It’s really unclear whether or not Amazon and MGM have any faith that this film will do well at the box office. Still, considering that Wonka appears to be on track to retake the number one spot, there is a good chance it could do well since no other films seem to be able to get any footing with the public, even though many of them are very good. We have a clip from the movie with Jason Statham beating people to death with office supplies–like ya do.

The Beekeeper doesn’t look like it’s trying to remake the wheel in terms of its story. This is another one of those movies with the guy who isn’t part of the government who goes on his own mission for his own reasons, but those reasons are actually supposed to be on the side of justice, and we’re supposed to sit back and watch him blow the brains out of a bunch of disposable and cartoonishly over the top bad guys. There isn’t anything wrong with the fact that this film doesn’t appear to be very original. Sometimes, you need something that shows up and does exactly what it says it will do, do it well, and then leave without trying to overly complicate anything. If that is what The Beekeeper gives us, we’re all here for it.
