Steph Curry Gives Accolades Jackson-Davis Trayce

This season has been a massive coming-out party for the younger players on the Warriors. Game after game, players like Brandin Podziemski, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody have stepped up.

There’s one player in particular that Steph Curry wanted to give a shout-out on Thursday night – Trayce Jackson-Davis.

“It’s no secret, we’re a smaller team in general,” Stephen Curry said. “Early in the year, before Draymond missed some games, there was a lot of him at the 5 and even when he came back. He’s obviously capable of doing that. But on a night-to-night basis, it’s helpful to have that presence. It’s the same thing Loon has done for us for so many years. Trayce has filled that role. It gives Draymond a little bit more freedom to be a pest out there, being help side, being able to attack the ball knowing that there’s a presence behind him.”

While it took some time to get acclimated, the younger players on the Warriors have shown that they’re worth being on the roster. Next season, as their games develop even more, the team should be in a much better position to tackle the regular season.
