Steph Curry of the Warriors was seen with an enigmatic wrap on his shooting hand.

Heading into Tuesday night’s play-in game, with the loser of the Warriors-Kings game going home for the summer, Steph Curry was spotted wearing a mysterious wrap on his shooting hand.

It’s unclear what the mysterious ailment is, but it’s not hard to spot the wrap on Curry’s right hand in the photo of him entering Golden 1 Center that the team posted on social media. It’s also pretty clearly on his hand in two videos NBC Sports Bay Area posted: one as he’s walking into the building and the other after he’s grabbed some popcorn.

Curry was wearing long sleeves in both instances, so it’s hard to see where the wrapping begins. But the visible portion covers his lower palm and extends up toward the base of his thumb.

Curry wasn’t wearing any protective wrap during warmups before game time, based on several photos and videos from the NBA and fans in attendance. He also wasn’t wearing anything during shootaround earlier on Tuesday, based on photos from media members in attendance. He hasn’t been listed on the injury report for any ailment, either.

The Warriors and Kings tip off Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The winner will play the Pelicans on Friday in another elimination game with the No. 8 seed in the playoffs on the line.
