Especially today, 30-year-old Xander Schuaffele hijacked the US sports fans’ attention for a brief moment with his first major win. One of those fans was Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. The second-best golfer in the NBA world sent out a special two-word appreciation after Schuaffele’s first PGA Championship. Of course, Michael Jordan takes the first spot.

Curry took to his Instagram stories and shared a hype reel of Xander Schauffele and wrote, “Major Champ,” with a raising hands emoji. The golfing star engaged in a tense final round, which could have been anyone’s game. The rising star went against 9 players with strokes to take the lead and eventually, he came out on top.
