Dwayne Johnson in Hot Water Again: Covid Breach Allegations Emerge Following Tardiness on Set Reports

Dwayne Johnson, the former WWE wrestler, has become one of the hottest actors and is a real money-making machine. However, fame isn’t everything, and in one of his recent shoots, his behavior has left a lot to be desired. The movie Red One slated as a holiday action comedy should have released on Amazon Prime Video last year. However, as of today, we are still waiting on a possible release window would be in November 2024.

The 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike that hit Hollywood last year emerged as the primary catalyst for the film’s delay. However, things turned ugly when fans found out that the reality played a different tune. Several reports came up that Dwayne Johnson did not behave well on the sets of this feature film. Reports cited him for the delay and caused the production to go overboard. And while the Rock wanted fans to ignore the haters, Jim Cornette just revealed another insider who backed the claims of unprofessional behavior by the Rock.

Earlier this month, The Wrap released a news piece that revealed that The Rock was 7 to 8 hours late to the film set. A very unprofessional behavior that would have cost the production company $50 million.

In addition, people who have worked with the actor claim that, instead of going to the bathroom during filming, what he did was piss in water bottles to save time.

And now, on the latest edition of Jim Cornette’s podcast on YouTube, the podcasters Cornette and Brian Last revealed a shocking mail. An anonymous source shared another instance of unprofessional behavior by the People’s Champ to Cornette, who made it known to the world.

Jim Cornette alleges that Dwayne Johnson’s negligence did not allow the crew to go home for Christmas

The sender of the mail claimed to be working in the film industry from Atlanta. And he heard tales about the Rock’s behavior from his cameraman friend. And how the Rock delayed the production by catching COVID-19. The wrestling veteran recounted the story, “During Covid all of the crew for the movie were remaining in the bubble and could only go to set and the hotel. So as not to catch Covid. And this included not allowing the crew to go home for Christmas. And that was standard with every production and entertainment at that point… The Rock broke this rule and went home for Christmas where he caught Covid and added delay production.”

More than a dozen insiders involved in Red One have reported problems on the set because of the producer’s inexperience. However, Amazon’s spokesperson said the film’s delays had nothing to do with producer Hiram Garcia. Garcia is the president of production at Seven Bucks Productions, Johnson’s production company. Despite all these comments, the Amazon spokesperson has insisted on the good work that is being done with the film. And that it would not have been able to move forward without the constant work and support of Johnson.

What’s more, he denies that The Rock was late for filming. What do you think? Who is speaking the truth here? Let us know in the comments.
