The sitcom starring Warriors’ Steph Curry is apparently changing names.

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is producing and starring in a new television show that is reportedly going through a few changes.

Axios reported on Tuesday that Curry’s mockumentary comedy series slated to debut on Peacock later this summer is “currently filming in the Bay Area,” though the news outlet didn’t specify where in the region the show is filming.

The show was originally planned to be called “Mr. Throwback,” but according to Axios, Peacock said that the show’s name will change before it drops on the NBC streaming platform. While there is no official release date, Peacock will reportedly release an official announcement and trailer “in coming weeks,” per Axios.

The series has been in development for more than a year now, according to Deadline, and will have Curry starring alongside Adam Pally. The show’s IMDb page says Pally will play “an unfortunate memorabilia salesman who hopes to find forgiveness by reconciling with NBA legend Steph Curry, a teammate from his sixth-grade years.” The now-unnamed show also added “Saturday Night Live” cast member Ego Nwodim, with Deadline reporting she’ll be playing Curry’s childhood friend and handler.

Screen, a film industry magazine in Chicago, reported in April that the show was set to film in the Windy City from mid-May through late June and that filming started on May 9. The Evanston Roundtable reported that filming was taking place in the Chicago suburb last month. So it isn’t exactly clear whether filming for the show is even happening in the Bay Area at all, let alone where in the region. SFGATE reached out to Unanimous Media asking for clarity on the filming location for this story but did not receive an immediate response.

Curry’s production company Unanimous Media is backing the series in yet another foray into the television industry. Among the more notable projects Unanimous Media has previously produced include the ABC game show “Holey Moley,” the animated Netflix revival of the sitcom “Good Times” and “The Queen of Basketball,” a short documentary about former women’s basketball star Lusia Harris that won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.
