From karting to a private magic show on Michael Jordan’s $115 million yacht, NBA icon Yvette is taking advantage of the best of the Balearics.

It’s that time of the year the celebrity superyachts flood the Balearics. One vessel unmistakable off the coast of Ibiza is dubbed the M’Brace. It’s rumored to be Michael Jordan’s. Whether the ownership of this floating palace is confirmed or not, his presence in the ultimate celebrity vacation destination is undeniable. Jordan, his wife, Yvette Prieto, and their twin daughters were spotted enjoying what Ibiza has to offer. It appears they can never tire of the island after their many visits, but recently, they’ve done something different.

The billionaire has visited Mallorca for the second time in six years. The rarity is what makes his visit special and Mallorcans are always welcoming of His Airness. Sailing and the sunny skies are not the only thing the Jordan fam is savoring this summer.

Michael Jordan arrives in the Balearics

Everyone in the US is debating the viability of MJ’s DPOY viability while the subject himself is unbothered on vacation. Jordan sightings were reported in Ibiza over the weekend where he was enjoying a getaway with his wife and daughters. Along with some speedboating, they were seen spending time at Ibiza Karting San Antonio, a popular course on the island.

The biggest confirmation of his island-hopping vacation came from an unlikely source. Viral magician and Ibiza’s best magic act, Sean Christopher tagged along to present a show for the Jumpman, his family and guests on his yacht. Christopher shared a snap with MJ on the yacht which he called “an absolute childhood dream come true” on Instagram.

Christopher’s post gave a small glimpse of the interior of Jordan’s boat. Apart from renting the famous charter yacht, Joy, for $80,000 a week and his viking shipping boat, Catch 23, Jordan is said to own M’Brace, a luxurious vessel he reportedly purchased in 2022. Designed by Abeking & Rasmussen, this 244 ft superyacht accommodates 12 guests and manned by a 24-person crew. It was reportedly sold for $115 million in 2022. The new owner was not confirmed but there’s a striking reason why everyone has reason to believe it’s Air Jordan.

MJ makes a splashy return

In 2023, the M’Brace dropped anchor off the coast of Mallorca. Jordan was spotted on the yacht and the island seemingly confirming he’s the billionaire owner of this vessel. His Airness had not been to the Balearic islands since 2017 and famously visited the Magalluf beach club then. This visit was not only significant because of the time that passed, but also for Jordan’s famous friends.

Mike and Yvette hung out with their fellow yachting buddies, Magic Johnson and Cookie and Samuel L. Jackson and his wife on a Mediterranean cruise last year. While last year their Greek stop was the viral topic on social media, this year it’s about Jordan’s Mallorcan return. No sighting of Magic’s yacht but doesn’t look like his friend’s missing him.

Locals saw the family dining at Portixol, one of the must-see sites in Mallorca. He’s been nothing but smiles while chatting with his wife. It doesn’t seem the controversy back home is making him lose sleep.
