Joining Michael Jordan on the streets of New York City, his ex-wife Juanita and their 31-year-old daughter are “still celebrating.”

“Happy Birthday… Enjoy the whole rest of the month won’t you — a birthday wish by an IG user for Juanita Jordan seems to be coming true. Notably, Michael Jordan‘s ex-wife turned 65 on June 13. And the celebration that started during the birthday week does not seem to stop. The most recent instance has been her outing with her 31-year-old daughter.

Jasmine Jordan shared a photo of the outing with her mother in her Instagram story section. “CHEERS TO THE GREATEST MAMA OF ALL TIME @iamtheonlyonejuanita… This Gemini said we STILL #outside,” read the caption to the story. Meanwhile, Juanita re-shared her only daughter’s IG story. “STILL CELEBRATING… IN THESE NY STREETS W/MY FAVORITE DAUGHTER @MICKIJAE,” she wrote in the caption. Notably, the 65-year-old earlier celebrated her birthday with all her children.

All three of her children — Jasmine, Marcus, and Jeffrey — had extended birthday wishes on their mother’s special day. However, the celebration was not limited to a single day, as evident from Marcus’s late birthday dinner IG story. And now Jasmine’s recent IG story indicates the above mentioned birthday wish by the random IG user actually worked. It is worth mentioning Jasmine has shared a close bond with her mother.

Juanita has been a present parent all through her children’s lives. She reveals to have put her will to run a business on hold to lend her attention to her kids. “…it was important for me to remain in my kids’ lives as much as possible, even through college,” she told Chicago Business.

Aware of it all, Jasmine has naturally been appreciative of her mother’s role and contributions. Explaining the goodness she imparted to them, teaching them to be grateful, or being a voice when gone unrecognized, Jasmine has been a proud daughter.

“Proof is in the pudding”: Jasmine on her mother’s exclusion from ‘The Last Dance’
‘The Last Dance’ docuseries chronicled the journey of Chicago Bulls through the late 80s and 90s. The primary focus was, however, on Michael Jordan’s 2 three-peat victories. And having been married to MJ from 1989 to 2006, Juanita witnessed a major part of Mike’s basketball journey.

So it was quite surprising that she was nowhere to be found in the docuseries. Speaking on the same, as per an article by Essence, Jasmine had stated her mother lived it all, so she did not need to go down memory lane. “And bring up everything that has already happened when the proof is in the pudding,” Jasmine added.

The 31-year-old had further mentioned how her mother was at Michal Jordan’s championships and retirement ceremony. “We saw her in her glory… so no, I don’t think there’s a need to rehash and go through it all. She already lived it,” she said. And her celebrating Juanita’s birthday even after two weeks of the day is further reflection of the love Jasmine holds for her mother.
