Steve Kerr reveals startling details regarding the Warriors’ trade negotiations for Stephen Curry

Now that Klay Thompson is no longer a Golden State Warrior, there are many decisions that the team’s leadership has to make in order to maintain a competitive side. Another players who left the squad is point guard Chris Paul, who went to the San Antonio Spurs. Right now, coach Steve Kerr is quite busy with preparations leading up to the Summer Olympics and he can’t really think about the Golden State Warriors until the tournament is over. However, he can maintain communication with the team’s leadership via video call. That’s probably how they stay in touch and keep plenning the upcoming season, which is one of the most important aspects of any NBA franchise. In a recent interview, Kerr mentioned something about players being involved in trade talks.

Steve Kerr made an admission that may shock a lot of the fans, it was about Stephen Curry and other players involved in trade talks. Coach Kerr was very clear about who will be included in these trade talks and which ones are the best options to get new super stars within the team. But the people wanted to know if Stephen Curry is part of those trade talks. He is the most important player in Golden State Warriors’ history, but everybody can be expendable. This is what coach Kerr said on the Willard & Dibs show on 95.7 The Game radio show: “There are very few players in the league who are not talked about in trade discussions. Steph Curry is not being discussed in trade talks. Everybody else is.”

A new team surrounding Stephen Curry
Thank you for watching

With Klay Thompson no longer part of the team, this naturally opened up new possibilities for the Golden State Warriors. The fact that Steve Kerr said every other player but Stephen Curry is involved in trade talks means that Draymond Green is also part of the conversations. If he leaves as well, it will definitely mark the end of a dynasty that was forged by Curry, Klay, and Green. Together, those three won four NBA rings out of six attempts. Reaching 6 NBA finals in the span of a decade is a feat that people hadn’t seen since the ‘1990s, when Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls dominated the game of basketball. We should wait and see how the Warriors leadership surrounds Stephen Curry to see if he can win another ring before he retires.
