JULY 19 BAM! Bam Adebayo recently celebrated his 27th birthday with Team USA (on July 18), and Steph Curry – who is joining Bam in getting ready for the 2024 Olympics – wanted a piece of the action.
So the Golden State Warriors superstar Curry wished the Miami Heat center a happy birthday.
The two-time MVP made a post to his Instagram story, writing, “Happy bday @bam1of1”
How sweet!
Adebayo is coming off a season during which he averaged 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game … and now plans to team with Curry in pursuit of Olympic gold in Paris.
JULY 18 GET INGRAM? Brandon Ingram is coming off solid season for the New Orleans Pelicans where he averaged 20.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game …
And to one ESPN wag, that should be good enough for the Golden State Warriors.
Recently, Kendrick Perkins suggested the Warriors should attempt to trade for Ingram.
Perkins’ thoughts? “I would like to see Brandon Ingram because we know that the Pelicans are listening to offers; go to the Golden State Warriors. I think Brandon Ingram alongside Draymond Green and Steph Curry not only would do wonders for him, but that would do wonders for the Golden State Warriors.”
The devil is in the details here; what would it take to do such a thing? But if the Warriors can “win the trade”? Fine. We’re in.

Stephen Curry, a legend in California for what he’s done for basketball in the Bay, might take a hit from the locals for his latest music opinion. Nearing the start of Team USA’s game vs. Siberia, the DJ found it necessary to play “Not Like Us.” Curry noticed the song and immediately revealed his opinion of its oversaturation, as you can’t escape it.

The top three favorites to lead Team USA in assists are LeBron James +400, Tyrese Haliburton +450, and Curry +550. In Team USA’s 105-79 blowout over Serbia, Curry played the catalyst by scoring 18 points in his first 11 minutes.

However, before losing 105-79, Serbia made the first quarter and a half interesting for everyone to watch. Nikola Jokic, Team Serbia’s leader and one of the best players in the world, kept Team USA on their toes.
After a missed free throw from Team USA’s Anthony Davis, Jokic executed one of his favorite passes, a full-court outlet pass.
