Urban explorer broke into Michael Jordan’s $15m mansion that he ‘can’t sell’ and the footage will stun fans

An urban explorer broke into Michael Jordan’s abandoned mansion that’s worth $15 million and the footage will stun you.

Jordan has been unable to shift his outrageous mansion despite it being on the market for 11 years.

The NBA icon built the mansion in Chicago, where he enjoyed a legendary at the Bulls, and listed it for sale for a staggering $29 million.

Since then, however, he has listed and re-listed the mansion several times, cutting the price to $14.85 million.

But Jordan still can’t sell the property.

The mansion has nine bedrooms, 15 full bathrooms, a pool pavilion and a regulation-size indoor basketball court, complete with the famous Bulls logo printed on the floor.

And if that wasn’t enough, the property also boasts a library, a wet bar, the original doors from the Playboy mansion in Chicago and a 14-car garage, with Jordan’s No.23 emblazoned onto the front gates.

It all sounds amazing and footage inside of the mansion echoes that sentiment as an urban explorer broke into the mansion, which makes for incredible viewing.

The footage begins with the urban explorer entering through the No.23 gates before entering the mansion, revealing a chandelier and ‘expensive’ furniture.

Then onto the indoor court, a private gym and sauna.

The urban explorer then made his way upstairs, showing off one of the master bedrooms and an in-home movie theatre, not to mention a hangout room.

The supposed reason behind the failure to sell the house is down to the level of customisation within the mansion.

Bruce Bowers of Bowers Realty Group said: “It’s clearly his home.

“It’s a tough sell. There’s a lot of work that would have to be done to make it your own.”

Gail Lissner, who is a managing director of Integra Realty Resources, told Business Insider in 2019: “Any time you have these homes that are just kind of gross over-improvements for the area, they do lead to very, very lengthy marketing times.

“It’s located in an area that is much more modest.”
