Central Intelligence was the first film to show how great of a pair Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are. The film was not the best in terms of script, but the duo’s chemistry did wonders for the film. One of the bloopers from the film was widely shared on the internet, which shows Kevin Hart roasting Dwyane Johnson for his ring name, The Rock.
The back-and-forth bantering between the two actors is something that both their fans absolutely enjoy. The jokes between them usually entail Johnson poking fun at Hart for being small and the Fatherhood actor poking fun at the Black Adam star for being huge.

Central Intelligence saw Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson paired together as high school classmates reunited. Hart’s character is an accountant who is forced to help Johnson’s CIA agent. Both the characters run into several troubles mostly because of Johnson’s profession and Hart goes off on Johnson during one scene.
The actual scene in the film is funny enough, but fans can never forget this blooper reel of the scene. While discussing the real name of Johnson’s character, Kevin Hart throws a list of wrestler’s ring names including Johnson’s name, The Rock. He went on to remark that none of these personas are real.
He calls the nicknames “dumb*ss” and shares that these are names chosen by a bunch of “dumb*ss” people. Johnson couldn’t keep a straight face during the scene because Hart was downright roasting him for his nickname. Johnson laughs out loud at Hart’s delivery of the line. Hart’s line in the film read:
What does that mean? What, you think Mr. T, and Sting, and The Rock… You think those guys are real? That’s a bunch of dumb*ss nicknames by a bunch of dumb*ss people.
Fans watching the reel must remember that this was one of the first roast exchanges between the two actors. They went on to act together in the Jumanji films and DC League of Super-Pets. Hart also made a cameo appearance in Johnson’s film Hobbs & Shaw. They also took their roasting game to social media where they shared pictures and videos to mock each other.

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart entertain fans not only through their onscreen chemistry but also when they appear together at off-screen events. The consistent roasting takes place during these behind-the-scenes or interview appearances too. Despite all the roasting, they keep doing projects together.
Their friendship has become a winning formula in films as Hart shared in an interview with ET. When pointed out that DC League of Super-Pets was their fifth movie together, Hart shared that the special relationship between them both onscreen and offscreen made these projects possible.
He shared that they respond to the material that they have been presented with and bring it to the screen in new creative ways. Hart shared with ET:
You know what, I gotta be honest, man it is [like we’re BFFs]. We have a great relationship onscreen, offscreen. Things like this just don’t happen, right? It’s something you definitely have to realize how special it is. It doesn’t have to be this way.
You typically don’t have the relationships onscreen and off at this magnitude. I love the fact that we get along. I love that we respond to the material that’s been presented to us. I love that we’re still finding ways to be creative.
Dwayne Johnson also shared a sweet tribute to the actor via his Instagram. Sharing a clip of them roasting each other, he shared that the fun with his “brother for life” had him cracking up.
