Reacting to All-Star starter snub, Steph Curry

Steph Curry, a superstar of the Golden State Warriors, talked about not being selected for the 2024 NBA All-Star.

In the absence of Curry, Shia Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks were selected to the backcourt of West Starters.

The star point guard talked about the matter in a press conference.

“I mean, you got two guys that are playing amazing, Luka and Shai, so… Those two guys are playing amazing; they deserve it,” he said, heaping praise on two younger guards from his conference.

“Hopefully, I’m there in Indiana in whatever capacity, but to still be doing it at this stage is always a challenge. You can never take it for granted how hard it is to be recognized in that way every year,” Curry stated, reflecting on his legacy.

Since the 2012-13 NBA season, the point guard only missed the 2020 NBA All-Star selection, owing to his remarkable consistency of playing quality.
