On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will face off against the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee.
Before the game (on Thursday), the 2024 NBA All-Star reserves were revealed.
Steph Curry was named to his tenth career NBA All-Star Game, and following the announcement, the two-time MVP made a post to Instagram that had over 170,000 likes in less than four hours.
Curry captioned his post: “I never take these acknowledgments for granted! The coaches voted me in this year, but thank you to you fans who voted too. Came a long way and still got some more ground to cover. See y’all in Indiana 🙏🏽”
Curry is in the middle of another impressive season with averages of 27.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 40.9% from the three-point range in 41 games.
The Warriors are coming off a 119-107 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers (on Tuesday), and Curry had 37 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and one block while shooting 12/17 from the field and 8/13 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.
As for the Warriors, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 20-24 record in their first 44 games.
Over the last ten games, they have gone 4-6.
At home in San Francisco, the Warriors are 13-13 in 26 games, while they are 7-11 in 18 games on the road.
Curry has led the franchise to four NBA Championships since the 2015 season.
