Ayesha Curry Shares How Her Love of Golf Helps Her and Her Husband Stephen Bond: “I’m Simply Infatuated”

Ayesha Curry is sharing one of the top activities she enjoys with her other half.

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show released on Tuesday, the TV personality shared that she has been getting in some quality time with her husband Stephen Curry on the golf course.

“It’s something we can do together no matter where we are in the world,” Ayesha, 34, told host Jennifer Hudson.

The Sweet July Skin entrepreneur and the NBA All-Star, 35, have been married for over a decade and have known each other since they were teenagers. They share three children, daughter Riley, 11, daughter Ryan, 8, and son Cannon, 4.

Hudson had first kicked off the sporting topic by saying she heard Ayesha is “an amazing golfer.”

“Say that again, I’m a what?” Ayesha responded with a loud laugh, her facial expression conveying just the opposite. “I’ll take that. I’m gonna put that on repeat.”

“I’m not an amazing golfer, but I am learning to golf,” she explained. “It’s this lifelong sport and it took me a long time to realize that — so even if I get 1% better every time, like it’s something that I can continue to work on.”

“I’m just obsessed,” the mom of three admitted, noting that even her Instagram algorithms have changed, promoting more golf content than food content these days.

As far as her primary passion, the cookbook author also discussed holiday foods and told Hudson that “there are no rules” for picking out special meals to share with your family. “I would say do something out of the box.”

For example, for Thanksgiving, Ayesha said they broke tradition with “chicken and waffles” instead of turkey and for Christmas, “Lasagnas,” she said of the planned entrée.

Whether it’s golfing, cooking or spending quality time together as a family, Stephen, known as “Steph,” has made it clear he appreciates all the memories he’s shared with his wife in their 12 years of marriage.

“My Woman. I Love you more than you know,” the Golden State Warriors point guard wrote in July on Instagram in honor of their wedding anniversary. “I’m thankful for every experience we have shared together. The highs, the lows, the ways life has brought us closer together through it all.”

“God continues to bless us,” he added. “You have brought me so much joy and happiness from day 1.”
