Stephen Curry plays two sports with two different teams. During the NBA season, he is the Golden State Warriors MVP point guard and bearer of four championships.
But he is also a reigning champion with his wife, Ayesha Curry, on the golf course.
“It’s something we can do together no matter where we are in the world,” Ayesha said of her and Stephen’s golf habit during an interview on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”
Ayesha added she’s a new golfer, but is determined to get better.
“It’s this lifelong sport and it took me a long time to realize that — so even if I get 1% better every time, like it’s something that I can continue to work on,” she said. “I’m just obsessed.”
She claims she is so obsessed with improving in golf, that her “for you page” has gone from videos of cooking steak to just golf tip videos recently.
Ayesha has a credible role model to follow in Stephen as someone to aspire to in terms of golf skill.
Stephen most recently won the celebrity golf tournament the ACC Golf Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Nevada on July 16. He beat retired tennis pro Mardy Fish on a clutch eagle putt on the 18th hole.
But then later that month Stephen and Warriors teammate Klay Thompson lost to a team of Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes in “The Match” — a charity golf event that pits teams of star athletes in other sports against each other — at Wynn Golf Club in Vegas on July 17.
But then in August, Stephen and Ayesha both competed at the 4th Annual Workday Charity Classic in California.
