Charles Leclerc’s son receives the ultimate present from Lewis Hamilton as Ferrari duo grants fans’ biggest wish.

It is the day for the ultimate crossover in Formula 1! Much to fans’ delight, Ferrari racer Charles Leclerc and Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton have finally gotten together for a little playdate for their pets, Leo and Roscoe. While Roscoe is a familiar face in F1 for all the fans who have been following Hamilton for a long time, Leo is a newcomer. The Dachshund is the lucky dog who stole the hearts of Monaco star Charles Leclerc and his girlfriend Alexandra Saint-Mleux. Now, it seems like Roscoe has gotten himself busy showing Leo the ropes to steer their fame as the most popular F1 pets.

Hamilton and Leclerc are going to be teammates at Ferrari in the 2025 season of Formula 1. And what better way to get to know your future racing partner than to arrange a small playdate where you bring your pet and they bring theirs? Well, Roscoe is no foreigner to the celebrity status that comes with being Lewis Hamilton’s pet. But Leo Leclerc Saint-Mleux only became a part of the F1 family when his parents, Charles and Alexandra, revealed his adoption with an Instagram post on April 15 of this year. The caption on that post read, “Welcome home baby Leo.”

Since that first peak at Leo on Charles Leclerc‘s Instagram, the fans wanted a shot of him with Hamilton’s pet Roscoe. After making his F1 debut, Leo the Dachshund flew to Florida to support his “dad” while the Ferrari racer contested at the Miami Grand Prix. It was also revealed that he has his own F1 VIP paddock pass where his name is written as “Leo Leclerc Saint-Mleux“. And his latest appearance on Charles’ social media has been as a part of the Monegasque’s Silverstone rundown.

A few weeks ago, fans could spot Leo sporting a pair of sunglasses that were too big for him as Charles Leclerc cuddled with him on his flight to Silverstone where the British GP occurred. But since then, the new F1 heartthrob had been keeping a low profile until recently. Now, a series of pictures uploaded on the official F1 Instagram page show Leclerc and Hamilton doting over their pets, Leo and Roscoe, as the two dogs steal the show at their playdate, and something happened at Imola which might have led to a ban on Leclerc from ever taking Leo to another one of his races.

Leo left his traces all over Imola after dad Charles Leclerc’s podium win

Ferrari’s outing in Imola saw Charles Leclerc claim the third spot behind Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. But the Monegasque could hardly celebrate his podium victory as his pet dog, Leo, littered the historic racing circuit with his “traces”. The Dachshund dropped a deuce right at the heart of Ferrari’s home circuit. As Leclerc’s horror unfolded thanks to Leo, Leclerc’s teammate Carlos Sainz captured a video showing the Monegasque standing awkwardly as he was unsure what to do about the situation.
