Kevin Hart continues to criticize Michael Jordan and clarify the discord between him and the American basketball legend. Although they used to be friends, the two stars have not seen each other for many years.
During his recent Acting My Age tour , comedian Kevin Hart addressed his strained relationship with Michael Jordan that began more than eight years ago at a charity event: “Michael hadn’t spoken to me in years, and it started because of an event I organized. I saw him late and made a few jokes, but Michael probably took them as sarcastic remarks.”
“It happened so fast. Everything I said was just to create a good atmosphere. I really didn’t mean any harm. And what happened after that was like what everyone knows, from then until now Michael Jordan has not talked to me again,” the Cop star explained.
The 1979-born actor explained to the crowd that he and Michael “didn’t get along” and that Michael Jordan “wasn’t a real fan of Kevin Hart.” Now Kevin Hart says he’s no longer interested in the issue: “I’m at a stage in my life where it’s hard for anyone to bother me. I’m 45 years old. There comes a point where you feel like the little things don’t matter anymore. I’m not the same person anymore.”
This isn’t the first time Kevin has made fun of Michael Jordan. He previously joked about the NBA champion’s fashion sense and mustache on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2016. Kevin called Michael a “terrible dresser” and said he owned “one of the worst jeans I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Not stopping there, Kevin even criticized Michael’s children for not following in their father’s footsteps and being as good as their father. However, ignoring the criticism, the son of the American professional basketball superstar – Marcus James Jordan (34 years old) shared that this comedian is a “funny man” after attending one of Kevin’s shows in July this year.
