Things haven’t exactly been going smoothly for the Golden State Warriors as of late. The Warriors ended up losing 119- 116 at home to Pheonix on Tuesday night, extending their extremely poor run of form.
The game was overshadowed by the ejection of Draymond Green, who was sent on his way by the referee after violently hitting Jusuf Nurkic in the face. The incident came only a few weeks after Green’s five-game suspension for putting Minnesota’s Rudy Gobert in a headlock.
“What’s going on with him? I don’t know,” Nurkic said after the game when asked about the incident. “Personally, I feel like that brother needs help… Hopefully, whatever he got in his life, it gets better.”
It’s clear that the Warriors tricky season is getting to some of the players. Even Steph Curry- who so often steps up in the face of adversity-, has shown occasional signs of frustration.
In fact, cameras very briefly picked up Curry losing his temper during their last game. The player lashed out aggressively, kicking one of the chairs in the first row of seats during the game. The moment captured the frustration that most of the Warriors players are probably feeling right now and was an uncharacteristic outburst from Curry.
