During the Warriors-Grizzlies game, Steph Curry created NBA history

On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors are playing Jaren Jackson Jr. and the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee.

Two-time MVP Steph Curry is appearing in his 924th career game, which moves ahead of Mark Aguirre and ties Hall of Famer Bob Cousy for 229th on the NBA’s all-time regular season games played list.

Following Cousy, the next players for Curry to pass will be Bill Bridges (926) and Hall of Famers James Worthy (926) and Earl Monroe (926).

Curry came into the evening with fantastic averages of 27.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 40.9% from the three-point range in 41 games.

Despite Curry’s greatness, the Warriors have had a slow start to the 2023-24 NBA season.

They are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 20-24 record in their first 44 games.

Over the last ten games, the Warriors have gone 4-6, but they are coming off a 119-107 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Curry was brilliant and put up 37 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and one block while shooting 12/17 from the field and 8/13 from the three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Following Friday’s game with the Grizzlies, the Warriors will travel to Georgia for a showdown with Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday evening at State Farm Arena.

On the road, they are 7-11 in the 18 games they have played away from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
