Eight-time NBA All-Star Dwight Howard will meet with the Golden State Warriors next week, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Howard’s most recent NBA stint was with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2021-22 season, but he played for the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan’s T1 League in the past season.
Throughout his 18-year NBA career, Howard has accumulated eight All-NBA selections, five All-Defensive honors, and has led the league in rebounding five times. He has also secured the Defensive Player of the Year award three times.
Howard began his NBA journey with the Orlando Magic, where he spent eight seasons from 2004-05 to 2011-12. Subsequently, he had stints with the Lakers in 2012-13, 2019-20, and 2021-22, along with periods at the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Throughout his career, the 37-year-old is averaging 15.7 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game.
