A blockbuster hit
Despite less publicity, The Beekeeper did pretty well at the box office in January. As of March 24, the film had grossed $66.2 million in the US and Canada and $86.5 million in other territories. Its worldwide total was $152.7 million. Clearly, the movie was liked by audiences across the world, so it’s surely worth your time, don’t you think?

R-rated film
The Beekeeper will never disappoint action lovers! With a sharp 1 hour and 45 minutes runtime, every action sequence will blow your mind. Interestingly, this action-thriller has surpassed the first opening collection of Statham’s other film, Wrath of Man. Some of the action sequenes are seemingly plausible. Strong violence, pervasive language, drug addiction, sensual and erotic scenes have been used throughout the film. Sttham’s revenge mission makes the story more intense. According to MPAA, although nudity is mild in The Beekeeper, the violence and gore are severe.

Critical acclaim
The Beekeeper has earned Statham critical acclaim as one of the best actors in Hollywood in the action genre. As Jason doesn’t star in too many films in a year, we bet you won’t feel disappointed with his acting chops and the many adventures his character goes on.

Original content
Although Statham has mostly acted in sequels, The Beekeeper has original content. Screenwriter Kurt Wimmer said that with its intriguing premise and Statham’s star power, The Beekeeper has the potential to launch a new popular action franchise.

A-list star cast

Apart from Jason Statham, The Beekeeper also stars Josh Hutcherson from The Hunger Games franchise, Jeremy Irons from DC’s Batman vs. Superman, Tyler James from DC’s Justice League, and Amber Sienna from the Fast & Furious franchise.
