Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is currently busy with his Hollywood projects. After heroically saving WrestleMania XL by inserting himself into the picture amidst much fan backlash, The Final Boss is promoting his upcoming movies. Slated to work on the live-action Moana, The Smashing Machine, and Red One, Johnson is busy. However, he always gets time to meet fans like the French Thor. Unfortunately, one comment made during this meetup rubbed fans the wrong way.
Johnson is many things: a wrestler, an actor, an entrepreneur, and sometimes a forgetter. For example, he forgot he had already visited In-and-Out Burger twice while claiming it was his first. Acts such as this have put the spotlight on him online during his departure from the WWE. However, another act of forgetting came recently when he badmouthed Chris Hemsworth. Hemsworth immortalized himself in pop-culture history by being a part of the OG Marvel lineup of heroes. Johnson could debut in the MCU soon enough if the rumors come to fruition. .
The Final Boss posted a video to his Instagram showing him being approached by the French Thor. This took place while working out in a gym in France. The identity of the person is unknown but bears a resemblance to the Marvel Hero. Maybe Johnson forgot that Vikings and Asgardians aren’t French.
However, while appreciating the love and support, Johnson said, “Hey, f**k Chris Hemsworth.” The French Thor expressed the same, but soon said he loved Hemsworth and didn’t mean it. However, The Rock did not say anything, although his demeanor showcased his jest rather than his seriousness.
The comment section quickly pointed out that the guy in the video looked more like French AJ Styles than Thor. Furthermore, with the story breaking that Hemsworth was likely to develop an early onset of Alzheimer’s, fans were more on his side. If The Rock is really set to debut as the villain Apocalypse, he’s doing a great job setting it up after his DCEU debacle. But, before that, he would have to finish his story with Cody Rhodes.
Dwayne Johnson’s rumored return to the WWE and potential feuds
Before leaving for the spotlight of Hollywood after his almost three-month stint in the WWE, Johnson left Rhodes with an ominous message. He claimed he would be returning for the WWE Universal title. Since then, the feud between The Rock and The American Nightmare has gone cold. Among other storylines, The Bloodline 2.0 was formed under Solo Sikoa.
While Sikoa has everyone believing that Roman Reigns is still calling the shots despite his absence, fans believe it’s The Final Boss. Rock intended to control The Bloodline when he made his WWE return. This could still be his overall plan despite being sidetracked into feuding with Rhodes. Fans believe the reveal will come once Reigns returns and tries to take control back from Sikoa only to be told he’s under The Final Boss’s orders. This could culminate in the much-awaited Reigns vs. The Rock showdown at Mania. What do you think? Tell us your thoughts in the comments down below.
