On Saturday evening, the Golden State Warriors lost a close game (in overtime) to the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 141-134 at State Farm Arena.
Despite the loss, Steph Curry had a fantastic night and put up 60 points, six rebounds, four assists and one block while shooting 22/38 from the field and 10/23 from the three-point range.
Lindsay Lohan and her husband were sitting in the front row, and after the game, Curry gifted the couple his signed jersey (h/t Warriors on NBCS).
With the loss, the Warriors dropped to 21-25 in their first 46 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Western Conference.
It’s been a tough season for the franchise, but they are only one game behind the Utah Jazz for the tenth seed (the final play-in tournament spot).
Over the last ten games, the Warriors have gone 4-6, and they will now head to Brooklyn for a showdown with the Nets on Monday evening at Barclays Center.
Even though the Warriors have struggled, Curry still remains an All-Star and is averaging 28.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest while shooting 45.9% from the field and 41.1% from the three-point range.
The four-time NBA Champion will turn 36 next month and is in his 15th season in the league (all with Golden State).
As for the Hawks, they are now in the middle of a four-game winning streak and improved to 22-27 in their first 49 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference.
