The Golden State Warriors stunned the NBA world last month after they acquired their longest and greatest rival, Chris Paul from the Washington Wizards in a blockbuster trade. Jordan Poole, a player they considered the future of the franchise, went the other way.
In the Warriors NBA Summer League clash against the New Orleans Pelicans, Stephen Curry was spotted sitting courtside with the veteran point guard.
The 38-year-old has had some legendary battles against the Warriors dynasty over the years, from the Lob City era with the Loa Angeles Clippers to his Houston Rockets days. Steve Kerr’s team came out on top in most of the battles, thwarting Paul’s hunt for an elusive NBA title.
Now, Paul will play for one of his biggest rivals next season. Many expect Paul to add plenty of value in the postseason, where the 2022 NBA champions struggled as they got eliminated in the second round by the Los Angeles Lakers.
Paul recently revealed he and Stephen Curry have known each other for a long time.

Paul revealed he worked out with Curry.
Paul is headed into his 19th NBA season, but it is not clear if he will start off the bench. In 59 games with the Phoenix Suns, he averaged 13.9 points and 8.9 assists. Paul has started every single game of his career – 1,214 regular-season games and 149 postseason games.
The future Hall of Fame point guard said he was excited to be teaming up with Curry and the rest of the Warriors’ big three.
