Jerome Robinson is coming off a year where he played for the Santa Cruz Warriors (G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors).
The 26-year-old averaged 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest while shooting 46.3% from the field and 36.2% from the three-point range in 24 regular season games (he also appeared in 14 Showcase Cup games).
This summer, Robinson was a free agent, and he has now officially signed a two-way contract with the Warriors.
Via Warriors PR: “The Golden State Warriors have signed guard Jerome Robinson to a two-way contract, it was announced today.”
Robinson was initially the 13th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Boston College.
Over three seasons, he has played for the Los Angeles Clippers and Washington Wizards (he most recently played in the NBA during the 2020-21 season).
The 26-year-old has career averages of 4.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 36.3% from the field and 31.0% from the three-point range in 113 regular season games (he has also appeared in five NBA playoff games).
Since Robinson is still so young (and a recent first-round pick), he could end up being an excellent addition to the Warriors.
Meanwhile, the Warriors are coming off a season where they were the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record.
They beat the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in seven games) but lost to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round (in six games).
