The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings face off for the first time since the 2023 NBA Playoffs tonight. Unfortunately, this time around, it won’t have any of the star power of the playoffs.
The Warriors have quite a few people listed on their injury report tonight, with many out for rest. Chris Paul and Steph Curry are out due to rest purposes. Draymond Green is out due to an ankle injury, Rodney McGruder is out due to a concussion, and Cory Joseph is out due to a back injury. Once the regular season starts, rest assured that Steph Curry, Chris Paul, and Draymond Green will play.
The Sacramento Kings currently only have one player listed on their injury report. JaVale McGee is out and listed day-to-day with wrist soreness.
Even though it’s the preseason, any matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings should have great energy. The two fanbases already had some level of animosity toward each other, even before the dramatic playoff series between the two teams. It remains to be seen just how wild the energy will be after the seven-game series because tonight is the first time they’ll be facing off since then.
The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings tipoff tonight at 6:30 p.m. PST. It will be a Sacramento Kings home game at the Golden 1 Center.
