Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made a post to Instagram.
Last month, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had their season come to an end when they lost to the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.
Despite getting swept, they still did a fantastic job of finishing as one of the top four teams in the league.
During the middle of the regular season, the Lakers had briefly been the 13th seed in the Western Conference, but they made excellent additions at the trading deadline to improve upon the roster.
James is 38 years old but still remains among one of the best players in the league, and finished the season with averages of 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field.
On Friday, the four-time NBA Champion made a post to Instagram that is going viral.
James captioned his post: “In Europe for the last past few weeks minding my business and I hear I’m on your mind that much huh??? I mean I guess I see why. 🤷🏾♂️ But Wave the flag on these lames!! Please make being player cool again cause the lame machine is at an all-time high. Enjoy your light but just know I’m the SUN. I stay on forever! 😉🫡🙏🏾👑”
James has played 20 seasons in the NBA (and five for the Lakers).
In addition to the Lakers, he has also spent time with the Cleveland Cavaliers (twice) and Miami Heat.
Following the loss to the Nuggets, James shared an intriguing quote at the podium when he met with the media.
James on May 22: “I don’t like to say it was a successful year because I don’t play for anything besides winning championships at this point in my career. I don’t get a kick out of making a Conference appearance. I’ve done it a lot. It’s not fun to me to not be able to be a part of getting to the Finals. But will see. Will see what happens going forward. But I don’t know. I don’t know. I got a lot to think about, to be honest. I got a lot to think about, to be honest. Just for me personally, going forward with the game of basketball got a lot to think about.”
