LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were teammates for three seasons on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In that span, the duo made the NBA Finals all three times and won the 2016 championship over the Golden State Warriors after trailing 3-1 (which is the most incredible comeback in the history of the Finals).
On Sunday, James shared an Instagram story that is going viral.
The Instagram account “hooper” posted a tweet from Twitter user @JohnnyHSD about Irving that said: “This has nothing to do with his “all-time ranking” but this is the best player with the ball in his hands we ever seen.”
James added the post to his Instagram story and wrote, “EVER!!!!!!!!!!”
Irving is widely seen as one of the most entertaining players ever because of his unique ability to finish at the rim and elite handles.
This past year, the former Duke star averaged a sensational 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range in 60 regular season games for the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks.
The eight-time All-Star has been in the NBA for 12 years and will go down among the greatest point guards of all time.
As for James, he is coming off another sensational year where he averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field in 55 regular season games for the Los Angeles Lakers (who made the Western Conference Finals).
Next year will be his 21st season in the NBA.
