Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James posted an Instagram story of ESPN’s 2024 NBA Mock Draft that projects Bronny James to land with the Atlanta Hawks.
Next summer, Bronny James (son of LeBron James) will be eligible to be drafted into the NBA via the 2024 Draft.
The 18-year-old is going to spend his freshman year of college playing for USC.
Recently, ESPN revealed their 2024 Mock Draft (by Jeremy Woo and Jonathan Givony), and they have Bronny being selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 17th pick.
LeBron then put ESPN’s Instagram post of Bronny’s mock selection to the Hawks on his Instagram story and shared a caption.
LeBron captioned his Instagram story: “Welllll ATL shawty the #JamesGang will be pulling up!”
In the past, James has alluded to wanting to play with his son before he ends his historic NBA career.
Right now, he is 38 years old and has played 20 seasons in the NBA.
The 19-time NBA All-Star remains among the best players in the league and is coming off a season where he averaged a sensational 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field.
Despite having an up-and-down regular season, the Lakers finished with a 43-39 record and were able to get the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
They defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in tournament and the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors through the first two rounds of the NBA Playoffs.
However, they were swept by Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.
James has two more years on his contract with the Lakers, but the final season is a player option.
