ewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, is currently vacationing in Türkiye.
After a successful stint in the 2024 season, Hamilton chose Bodrum, a popular resort town, to unwind during the summer break.
Hamilton arrived in Türkiye after the Belgian Grand Prix, where he won following his teammate George Russell’s disqualification.
This victory marked Hamilton’s second of the season, adding to his earlier win at the British Grand Prix.
While in Bodrum, Hamilton and his family have been enjoying the scenic beauty of Yalikavak.
He arrived as a special guest of a close friend and was seen at the hotel’s pier with his luggage. Hamilton’s presence in Bodrum has drawn significant attention because of his high-profile career and recent performances on the track.
Besides relaxing in Bodrum, Hamilton also spent time on the luxury yacht “Cloudbreak,” owned by Russian billionaire Alexander Svetakov.
The yacht, valued at $120 million, features amenities such as a pool, sauna, massage room, cinema and gym. Hamilton’s stay on this extravagant yacht added a touch of glamour to his holiday.
Hamilton chose Türkiye for his vacation after signing a $500 million deal with Ferrari, which will see him join the team in 2025.
This significant contract has been a major talking point in the motorsport world, reflecting Hamilton’s continued influence and success in Formula 1.
Despite enjoying his leisure activities, Hamilton remains focused on his racing career. He expressed mixed feelings about his recent win in Belgium, noting his teammate’s disappointment, but also acknowledging Mercedes’ progress.
“I have Mixed feelings about today’s result. I’m obviously happy to get the win, but I feel for George, and it’s disappointing for the team not to get the 1-2,” Hamilton said.
“At the start of the weekend, we didn’t expect to be at the front of the pace we had, so it’s great to see just how much progress has been made and that we are in the fight,” he added.
Hamilton aims to carry this positive momentum into the remainder of the season.
