Basketball legend Michael Jordan has just added a $16.5 million mansion in Jupiter, Florida, to his real estate portfolio.
The trophy home, which Jordan scored at the end of March, is within the Bear’s Club, an exclusive gated community with a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course. It had been on the market since December, asking $18.5 million.
Built in 2017, the contemporary property is described as the “pinnacle of luxury living,” in its listing with Jeremy Browne and Thomas Hughes of Compass, who declined to comment on the deal.
Across its 9,100 square feet, the home offers sleek interiors with towering ceilings, stone floors and floor-to-ceiling windows.
It also boasts an open-plan great room with living, kitchen and dining areas, five bedrooms and a pool.
Jordan, 61, made the deal using a limited liability company, records with PropertyShark show. It marks Jordan’s second property in the 61-home enclave, with the other being a sprawling 28,000-square-foot mansion that he had built in 2013.

The six-time NBA champion and Hall of Farmer, who played most of his career with the Chicago Bulls, also owns a notoriously difficult-to-sell megamansion in Highland Park, Illinois, which he has been trying to offload for more than a decade. The 56,000-square-foot home is equipped with a laundry list of amenities, including a regulation-sized basketball court, a putting green and a cigar room.
A request for comment sent to his family office was not immediately returned.
