Kevin Hart has opened up about why Michael Jordan has ‘had an attitude’ and not spoken to him for years.
Hart, 45, is no stranger to making risqué jokes, and it seems one of the best basketball players to have ever played the game can’t escape them.
The comedian has even taken aim at Jordan’s sons, Jeffrey and Marcus, in recent times, which likely won’t help heal their relationship much at all.
During his Acting My Age tour, Hart revealed why 61-year-old Jordan apparently hasn’t spoken to him for years.
“Michael’s had an attitude with me for years because I hosted a celebrity event for him and he came in late. I saw him coming in late [and] I hit him with [a joke],” Hart told the audience at his Atlantic City show on July 21, according to the Daily Mail.
He added: “It was quick. It was all in fun. I don’t know where it came from. I just hit him with a quick one.
“Michael had an attitude. Hasn’t talked to me since.”
And to be honest, Hart doesn’t seem particularly bothered in the breakdown of relationship.
“I don’t give a s***. I couldn’t care less. I couldn’t f****** care less,” the comedian continued.
“I’m at a point in my life where it’s very hard to bother me.
“I’m 45 years old and it’s not about the progression of life. You get to the point where little things don’t matter. I’m not the same person I once was.”
During his show in New Jersey, Hart also called out Jordan’s children for not using ‘resources and opportunities’ that are at their fingertips like other celebs’ offspring do.
The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star previously joked about the former basketball player’s fashion sense and facial hair during an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show in 2016.
“What age do you get to where it’s OK to wear your pants that high, and nobody addresses it?” Hart quipped.
Meanwhile at a recent performance at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hart claimed Jordan is a ‘horrible dresser’ and wears ‘some of the worst jeans I’ve seen in my life’.
Despite this, Hart admitted to Kimmel that: “He’s still my favorite player though.
“If I see him again I’m gonna ask him about it. ‘You better lose the ‘tude, Mike.’”
