Michael Jordan takes his stylish wife Yvette Prieto for a boat ride in Ibiza. NBA superstar unwinds on vacation with a cigar

Michael Jordan is kicking back and relaxing on a romantic vacation in Ibiza with his model wife Yvette Prieto this summer.

Jordan and Prieto, who have been married for the last 11 years, were spotted heading out on a speed boat over the weekend as the loved-up couple enjoy some down time on the Spanish island.

The dapper NBA legend, 61, donned a white bucket hat and matching t-shirt with light green and white patterned swim shorts on the boat ride, while also puffing on one of his signature cigars.

Prieto, 44, wearing a beige knitted beach cover up over a bikini, kept her super-expensive diamond engagement ring on her finger throughout.

Jordan is said to have forked out upwards of $1million on the glamorous ring for his future wife before he popped the question back in 2011, and it proved a worthwhile investment with the pair still happily married over a decade on.

As he smoked away on his cigar, Prieto could be seen laughing and joking with her man while soaking up the sun on the boat ride.

Jordan, worth an estimated $3.6bn, recently forked out $15m on a new 82-foot yacht, which he entered into a deep-sea fishing tournament off the North Carolina coast.

However, the former Chicago Bull superstar’s latest venture did not go swimmingly.

He reportedly entered his newest boat, a yacht named ‘Catch 23’, in the 66th annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament in Morehead City, according to TMZ.

Jordan was hoping to catch a piece of the prize pool – which totaled $7.5million in cash.

Unfortunately, his crew of seven anglers and a captain failed to place, meaning he failed to take home any money over the weekend. The basketball great was not competing in the tournament himself.

For comparison’s sake, the $15m Jordan spent on the new yacht is less than one percent of his reported net worth.

Jordan only recently acquired the boat – which bared the Catch 23 name similar to others he previously competed in.
