Two success stories under the Jordan Family umbrella are coming together for a special event. Michael Jordan’s rapidly growing celebrity-owned tequila brand, Cincoro is once again collaborating with Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room. To celebrate an 8th anniversary as a family, Cincoro and The Trophy Room are hosting a ‘Shop & Sip’ event on May 23, i.e., 5.23. Doesn’t get more Jordan than that.
Cincoro, The Trophy Room, and Marcus shared details of the event on Instagram. With limited RSVP for only adults above 21 years old, fans can sign up for it at any of the Trophy Room locations in Miami. This event’s highlights include tequila tasting (hence it’s 21+ only) presented by Michael Jordan’s Cincoro and shopping at The Trophy Room from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Lucky ones who do get in have the opportunity to shop Nike, Air Jordan, and Trophy Room merchandise with giveaways and discounts. Even the offers follow the Jordan theme like 23% off on Nike and Jordan products.
The promotion is billed as, “You are invited to celebrate our 8th anniversary as a family.” It is not as self-explanatory. Cincoro launched in September 2019. Marcus officially opened two locations of The Trophy Room store in March and April 2022. Perhaps six years of Cincoro and two years of The Trophy Room is Jordan math.
It nonetheless comes at a very opportune time. Cincoro is growing exponentially with more additions to the Jordan family.
Jordan Family friends join Cincoro
Cincoro, literally translated to ‘Five Gold’ in Spanish, was co-founded by a group of five in NBA ownership positions, including Michael Jordan when he owned the Charlotte Hornets. Over time, Marcus has been involved in Cincoro alongside his siblings. He’s attended other Cincoro tasting events both as a host and a guest. He even introduced a limited edition bottle of Cincoro priced at $649 a pop at the Miami Art Week (then girlfriend, Larsa Pippen was in attendance too) during the 2023 holidays.
Jordan is definitely the face of Cincoro but it’s going to be known by more All-Stars soon. This month, Mike brought in his friends into the ownership group, including tennis legend Serena Williams, MLB icon Derek Jeter, football star Michael Strahan, and his best golf buddies, Keegan Bradley, and Dustin Johnson. DraftKings Inc’s Matt Kalish, Paul Liberman, and Jason Robins also now have a stake in Cincoro.
To celebrate the newest ownership, Cincoro also introduced new editions of the 375ml bottles of Blanco, Reposado and Anejo. There’s no word on if these limited editions would be part of Marcus’ Shop & Sip event. Given that the luxury tequila brand’s spirits are highly touted, the tasting event won’t be less than extraordinary.
