The NBA superstar, 35, has written a new inspiring book titled I Am Extraordinary.
Curry’s book tells the story of Zoe, a young girl with hearing loss on her first day of school.
She dreams of playing soccer but is too nervous to try out for her school team due to her hearing aids, according to Penguin Workshop.
The 40-page tale, illustrated by Geneva Bowers, provides an “eye-opening experience about what it means to be different,” per the press release.
The four-time NBA champion is marketing his new story to kids aged 4 to 7.
Announcing the venture via a video on X, Curry revealed, “My book, I Am Extraordinary, is coming to bookstores near you on March 12th.
“I’ve wrote this book about a young girl named, Zoe, who overcomes her insecurities and learns how extraordinary she is.
“This book is written to encourage young people to feel capable and confident in everything they do!”
One fan responded to the clip, “I’m speaking for all of us when I say WE WILL BE READING IT.”
Another said, “Take my money!”
And a third added: “Love this. Always space in the world for this energy.”
I Am Extraordinary is not Curry’s first foray into the world of literature.
He released I Have A Superpower in September 2022, a children’s picture book where he drew on his own experiences of reaching the NBA.
Standing 6-foot-2, Curry was often told growing up he was too small to make it as a professional basketball player.
He joined the NBA in 2009 after being selected in the first round by the Golden State Warriors.
Curry has since been the league’s MVP twice, won four titles, and is a nine-time All-Star.
