Nominated for a Prestigious Recognition is the Billboard Winner Collaboration with Michael Jordan’s Iconic Shoe Brand.

The epitome of signature sneakers might get its recognition with one of its best creations. Despite many athletes following a similar signature shoe model, the best remains undeniably Michael Jordan. However, the result of one of his greatest collaborations might be one of the best shoes to come out of the Jordan line. Let’s take a deep dive into one of MJ’s best drops, a shoe that might be the “Sneaker of the Year”.

Will the already iconic design from the Chicago Bulls legend win it all? We’re here to bring you all the details.

Michael Jordan X Travis Scott

The medium olive colorway came in the collaboration between Mike’s Jordan brand and already iconic rapper Travis Scott. While the collaboration has given the Jordan brand, and most importantly the Air Jordan 1 some iconic shades, this might be their best.

The AJ1 Low x Travis Scott in a Medium Olive is the sneaker in consideration for the Sneaker of the Year. A panel put together by Complex Sports, comprising of the biggest names in entertainment will rack their brains for the honor.

Names like Lil Yachty, Jim Jones, Kristen Noel Crawley, and DJ Clark Kent will vote to decide which sneaker gets the honor. Meanwhile, hosting duties belong to Joe La Puma of Complex Sports as the Sneaker Of the Year Panel decides the winner of the award.

Despite some all-time designs coming out of the brand, this colorway in collaboration with Travis Scott might be one of their greatest creations yet. Will the quartet of the who’s who in entertainment bestow it with the honor?

After all, the design of the show does warrant at least a strong consideration. But, it isn’t the only one.

The other Jordans making it to the list
Apart from the olive Travis Scott colorway, the brand has a few other nominations as well. Among them are 2 other collaborations as well. Firstly, is the crossover with J Balvin and the simple, yet elegant Air Jordan 3 that gave birth to.

Even though most of his shoes came out during his playing days with the Bulls and the Washington Wizards, they remain among his most iconic. As a result, remakes and retro lines with them are famous to this day. Like, the Air Jordan 3 White Cement Reimagined also makes it to Complex’s list.

But, at the top of the list is a rather uncommon colorway. As part of a crossover with the AJ4, the Nike SB X Air Jordan 4 came with a unique green tinge. While uncommon, the design was an instant hit and also made it to this year’s list.

Can Jordan bag another one?
