Michael Porter Jr. spoke with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report, where he revealed the details of his workout with Steph Curry.
“Some guys may do a star drill, where they run from the top of the key to the corner, to the other wing, to the other wing,” Porter Jr. said. “He’s doing that same dribble full court. So, his conditioning is like his best attribute, that’s what I pick up from him, and his attention to detail. I think that’s something all the great players have, their routine. You don’t just become that good of shooting just by a gift. You got to work to become one of those shooters.”
It’s not a coincidence that Steph Curry can outrun so many other players on the court. He’s not just magically faster than everyone else, he conditions himself to do so. Being an elite finisher at the rim, the greatest shooter ever, and an amazing cardio specialist are all things that Steph Curry has worked tirelessly to become. It’s why he’s one of the greatest NBA players to ever do it.
