It seems like someone is invested in Netflix’s Squid Games Challenge. The company has released the first five of the 10-episode show with more to come on November 29. The grand finale with the winner will be released later in December but Marcus Jordan is just too impatient for that.
The 32-year-old took to his X to voice his plea, sharing, “Netflix need to add the rest of them Squid Games Challenge episodes ASAP”. While his excitement is understandable, things just don’t work that way, do they? He will just have to wait like the rest of us and watch when it comes out.
Unless you have had your internet cut off, you must have come across all the drama surrounding Marcus and his father, Michael Jordan. In recent times, he has got people talking due to his love life and his choice of bride, Scottie Pippen‘s ex Larsa Pippen.
The couple are not exactly ignorant of the general public’s opinion of them, though. They say love always wins, no matter the weight or intent of the hatred. And it seems to be true in this case as Larsa and Marcus are still going strong. They just celebrated their second Thanksgiving together, sans their families though. Understandable considering how confusing this must all be for them.
A possible awkward holiday for the Jordan-Pippen household?
Dating and intending to marry your father’s former teammate’s ex-wife is pretty wild. Just think of the family gatherings! With the holiday season well underway, one cannot imagine the vibes around the dinner table. And if both households come together with Marcus’s family and Larsa’s kids, well… they would be in a pickle.
The person from the Jordan household who has publicly shown support for the couple is Marcus’s mom Juanita Vanoy. She has dropped comments on her future daughter-in-law’s posts on Instagram, a huge sign of support in the Gen Z era. Larsa even noted in a podcast, “Your mom always sends us this cute clapbacks or like how to avoid conflicts on the show.”
According to Marcus, his father Michael Jordan has also been supportive. He shared when speaking to the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast, “My dad mainly said, ‘You’re an adult.’ He was content as long as I was happy. He had never interfered in my love life before Larsa, and he certainly wasn’t starting then.” The reactions of the Pippen family are not known but the kids did wish their mom a happy birthday earlier this year. And we do know that Larsa’s parents love her beau. Maybe they can be one big happy blended family? Or not. Only time will tell if this love will prevail above all else.
