Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham will be renting a lavish home in Clapham, south London, for £10k a week

HOLLYWOOD star Jason Statham is relocating from LA for London after landing a role in a new movie – and is moving in to a plush £10,000-a-week pad.

The actor, who has a baby son with Rosie Huntington Whiteley, snapped up the eight bedroom mansion in a bid to be close to the filming location.

And despite already owning a home in London, he is forking out £43,333 a month to stay in the lavish pad near Clapham Common.

The 1,260 sq m home also boasts five reception rooms, 11 bath/shower rooms and a lavish pool area for the star, 50, to relax in.

A source said last night: “Jason is mainly based in LA but when this film role came up he felt he couldn’t refuse.

“And as he will be spending a lot of time on set, he wanted to be as close as possible to the filming locations near Clapham.

“The house he has chosen is next door to a mansion the Beckhams’ previously looked at renting, and as soon as Jason saw it, he decided to snap it up.”
