Serena Williams’ newborn baby has a nursery outfitted for a princess!
After announcing the birth of Adira River Ohanian –whom she shares with husband Alexis Ohanian– on August 22, the proud mom is now sharing a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of what the baby’s nursery looks like on her YouTube channel; And it is just as adorable as you might think.
In a video posted to her channel on Saturday (August 26), the mom of two began with the “before” tour of the quarters for little Adira (recorded before the baby’s birth), which started with the closet. “I literally started sketching, and I sent it to the closet lady, and she did it. And it came in today, and it’s really cool,” she said of its interior design, which features a wood design and plenty of storage space.
During the second half of the video, the big reveal was preceded by a cute nod to HGTV dubbed SWTV with an image of Williams wearing a yellow construction hat.
With the entrance closed and a “Shhh…baby sleeping” hanger positioned on the knob, the door slowly opened to a room ready for autumn with hues of crimson and orange.
The baby’s bed is trimmed in white, with crimson cushions on the inside, along with a gold crown above and two pillows monogrammed with the letter “O”. Next to the bed is a white chair adjacent to three floating shelves containing books.
The room also features a changing table, whimsical balloons hanging from the ceiling, and a great window for natural light.
Additionally, more trinkets are within the living space, such as a picture inscribed with “Victory Redefined” against flowers and a giraffe with a sweet red bow.
The video’s final frame highlights Adira’s closet, outfitted with a California closet aesthetic. The closet has white and brown storage baskets on the shelves, rows of clothes on hangers, adorable hair bows, Nike baby shoes, and a cute baby hat.
