One second he’s dismissive of Victor Wembanyama, the next he’s subtly hyping him for making his rookie record. He even made the Inside Guys explode on him, He’s not finding much support all around either.
Except from one person crawling out of the woodwork. Michael Jordan once took a gamble on him. And he’s now taking a gamble on Shaq’s beliefs.
Shaquille O’Neal gets surprising support
Michael Jordan’s Washington Wizards tenure started with a controversial decision by picking Kwame Brown in the NBA draft. Controversial selections seems to be his brand now. Now a YouTuber on his channel, Kwame Brown Bust Life, he has reactions to happenings in the NBA world. And he was not going to miss his opportunity to react to Shaquille O’Neal’s commentary.
While Victor Wembanyama was proving to be a powerhouse for the Spurs, Shaq decided to say it’s nothing. He claims there’s another big man in the league right now who deserves as much attention for his skills and that’s Bol Bol. Charles Barkley and fans couldn’t agree with him. But Kwame Brown did.
“Shaq done lost his damn mind,” Brown said about the general opinion about O’Neal right now. But he doesn’t think so. He believes Shaq does have a point.
According to Brown, Bol Bol and Wemby do have a similar skill set. But Bol Bol has not had the chance to develop it or showcase his talent because he’s always on a roster with standouts.
